What is G20 summit 2023

The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit is the eighteenth meeting of G20, a summit being held between 9 - 10 September 2023. It is taking place in Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It is the first G20 summit held in India as well as in South Asia. 

 You should know that this meeting holds a special place for the South East Countries because the leaders in this organization work for financial and strategic growth. Various countries such as China, Argentina, India, Turkey and others are part of the Group of Twenty (G20) in which the G20 Summit Presidency was handed over to India on 1st December 2022. Now, representatives from all the participating countries will meet as per the G20 Summit 2023 Schedule on 9th and 10th September 2023 at Pragati Maidan which was recently inaugurated by PM Modi after reconstruction. G20 Summit 2023 Schedule

Many countries are included in the G-20, which are responsible for 80% of the world’s economy, more than 75% of trade, and more than two-thirds of the population. The most important decisions for the coming future are taken only in such meetings in which the representatives of all the countries are involved. The European Union is also a part of the G-20. The leaders of the world's wealthiest countries have gathered in India's capital, New Delhi, for the G20 summit. Over two days, they are expected to coordinate policy on food security, vulnerable countries' debt problems and climate action.
